Able Software has released a new Utility Star product enhancement for the printing of utility service customer receipts. This new system feature works with customer receipt printers currently supported by the Utility Star platform and utilize either Able Software Receipt Printer or Payment Station interface modules
Typically, only a final receipt will be printed out for each customer payment station transaction. However on occasion, occurrences such as payment entry errors, printer problems or other issues may happen and reprinting a customer payment receipt may be required. Able Software has now incorporated a reprint receipt function for the Utility Star system. Utility Star system users may now reprint customer payment station receipts anytime, on demand.
1. In order to utilize the new reprinting feature, your Utility Star system should be updated to version 9.9.118 or higher.
2. Log in to Utility Star and then select “Company->Payment->Payment Station”. This is the Payment Station user screen.
3. Click the “Reprint” button (highlighted with red outline on the sample screenshot) in order to bring up the Reprint Receipt screen. Set up the query condition and then click “Find”. The payment records meeting the desired query condition will then be listed in a pop-up window.
4. Simply select the payment record that needs to be reprinted and then click the “Print” icon or double click on the highlighted payment record, in order to reprint the receipt.
